Research focus
I am interested in policy research and realignment in the realm of sustainability science with special focus on Higher Education, Agri-food sector, Circularity Principles and Indigenous Knowledge preservation.
Focus Area 1: Present status of national policy coherence with principles of sustainable development and targets of Sustainable Development Goals, identification of gap areas. Focus Area 2: Sustainability of Agriculture and Food Systems, promotion of circular practices, identification of sustainability indicators, synergies between indigenous knowledge and agricultural sustainability. Focus Area 3: Education and Sustainable Development, inclusion of Sustainability Science within curriculum, sustainability initiatives by Higher Educational Institutions, competencies and indicators for enhancing sustainability within education.
