My main interest is cancer research, but I have worked on other disease-related projects as well, including type-2-diabetes, asthma, and COVID-19. My laboratory expertise in a wide range of molecular biology techniques along with my knowledge of human pathology enables me to tackle different research arenas. Currently, I am working on a project on breast cancer and investigating the underlying mechanism of metastasis and possible predictive markers for metastasis. Being originally a clinical dentist with a shifted interest towards cancer research enables me to combine both the clinical and scientific aspects of the research in question.
