Research focus
My research at Maastricht University’s Food Claims Centre focuses on private governance opportunities for the safe valorisation surplus food and food processing by-products. The aim of my PhD project is to develop scientific literature and practical tools that will aid the food industry in making better use of its waste streams while ensuring the highest level of consumer protection.
