[ENG] Karina Aquino is Diplomat of Career and Science Diplomacy Researcher. She obtains a bachelor’s degree with honors in Industrial Engineering from the Alma Mater of Honduras UNAH (2007). She completed a Master’s program in Project Management (2010) and a postgraduate in Management Skills (2014), from The Central American Technological University UNITEC. She has over 11 years of experience in International Relations and diplomacy, with studies in Honduras, Chile, Germany, Brazil, India, among others. She also worked as diplomat in the United States. She has experience in project management in fields related to Sustainable Development and Investment. Karina runs projects with the implementation of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion evidence based in middle income countries.

Con más de 11 años de experiencia en relaciones internacionales y diplomacia y estudios realizados en Honduras, Chile, Alemania, Brasil, India, etc. Karina ha sido Ministra Consejera en Los Estados Unidos. Su experiencia se ha enfocado en el seguimiento de proyectos de inversión y sociales con el BID y Banco Mundial y las Agencias de las Naciones Unidas. Karina lidera proyectos para la implementación de metodologías de Género e Inclusión Social. Miembro de la Organización Mundial de las Mujeres en la Ciencia en países en vía de Desarrollo de la UNESCO.
