Research focus

My research focuses on enhancing the health and well-being of older individuals, with a particular emphasis on social capital and healthcare access. I have a solid background in demography and geography and a strong passion for promoting public health in the population. Through my studies, I am examining various methods for healthy aging, which focus on the physical, mental, and social aspects of the older population. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, I am exploring the impact of social capital on healthcare access, which holds significant implications for policy development and healthcare planning in India. My commitment lies in investigating barriers to healthcare access for seniors and developing comprehensive interventions that address their physical, social, and psychological well-being. Additionally, I am also working on various environmental issues, such as disasters, water quality, and bio-waste, which affect the health and well-being of the population. My research aims to shed light on these barriers and challenges, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare delivery for vulnerable people.
