Research focus

My particular interest lies in the life cycle sustainability assessment of systems and products as life cycle perspective. My current research project is on the sustainability assessment of sugarcane sector in Pakistan. The project has been divided further into seven sections: (1) environmental sustainability assessment of the sugarcane sector, (2) energy analysis of bioethanol, (3) water, energy, and food (WEF) nexus, (4) environmental sustainability assessment of bagasse-based electricity, (5) absolute sustainability assessment, (6) eco-efficiency assessment, and (7) application of social life cycle assessment (S-LCA).
