Research focus

Type 2 diabetes prevalence is increasing in sub-Saharan Africa and efforts to prevent it are needed. My study uses a mixed methods approach to understand the etiology of type 2 diabetes and the lived experiences of diabetes risk in Nairobi Kenya with the overall aim of developing a theory of change for diabetes prevention.
