I am a synthetic chemist and pharmacist developing new approaches to antibiotics, cancer treatments and drug delivery using macrocyclic platforms. I am also an educational researcher with an interest in developing equitable online materials, innovative approaches to international exchange, research projects and trans national education and the implementation of active learning methods within diverse curricula and educational situations. This is undertaken with colleagues in Thailand and Vietnam. I chair the UEA South East Asia Dialogue group, bringing together educators and researchers with links to the area and developing strong and supported collaborations with ASEAN Universities and research institutes
