Research focus
I have been working as an Assistant Professor since 2017. My Ph.D. was awarded in 2017 in Plant Molecular Biology from CSIR-NBRI under the mentorship of Dr. Samir V Sawant with the support of the CSIR fellowship. I established my ‘Plant Molecular Biology Lab’ at college with independent funding and working on cotton functional genomics, GWAS, and genome editing. Besides cotton, I am also working on various aspects with the model plant Arabidopsis, tobacco, and tomato. I am open to research collaboration.
