My research focuses on understanding and improving the health and well-being of older adults, with a specific emphasis on frailty. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong background in anthropology and a deep passion for studying holistic health and geriatric epidemiology. I conducted extensive primary and secondary research on holistic health approaches for older adults, exploring the physical, mental, and social dimensions of well-being, which provided valuable insight into the complex factors influencing geriatric health and the importance of developing comprehensive interventions. I actively collaborated with interdisciplinary teams at national and international levels to investigate the epidemiology of geriatric conditions, including frailty syndrome. I am committed to expanding my research on geriatric health by exploring innovative approaches to prevent and manage frailty syndrome. I aim to develop interventions that not only address the physical aspects of ageing but also consider the social and psychological well-being of older adults. Through my research, I plan to contribute to developing policies and interventions that promote healthy ageing and improve the quality of life for older adults globally.
