My research is currently focused on two key themes. First, I am interested in the use of digital media in education. I am particularly active in the area of digital literacy and digital competence, and how these can be supported and developed. Second is the area of entrepreneurship and enterprise education, focusing on social value and the impact of entrepreneurial skills in education. This theme of research helps to understand how education practitioners can learn to think and act in entrepreneurial ways.
