Research focus

Dr. Oluleke Babayomi has been working at the intersection of power electronics, control systems, renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, energy storage systems, etc.), sustainable mobility and clean energy transition policy for over 15 years. He is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea. He has published more than forty peer-reviewed technical publications and several invention patents. Dr. Babayomi serves as the Vice President (Marketing) of IEEE Smart Village, the flagship humanitarian program of the IEEE, N.J., USA, that provides seed funding to local entrepreneurs for productive use of renewable energy and technology in underserved communities around the world. He has received several international awards for both innovation and excellence. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Shandong University, China.
