Research focus

I am a Geoscientist/ Researcher working on renewable energy, sustainable mining and management of natural resources part  of the SDGs. 

I am wrapping up a project on linking the SDGs to geoscience  and the roles of geoscientists in achieving the SDGs in Kenya at the University of Hull in collaboration with Geoscientists from Geology for Global Development (https://www.gfgd.org/), Hallam Sheffield University, UK, University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University, Kenya.

I am on the Sustainability Committee of the Society for Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). Our committee goal is to raise SDGs awareness and ingrain the concept and framework of sustainability into the strategic and operational plans of the SEG.
