My research journey in forced migration has been both diverse and impactful. I’ve delved into critical issues related to international conflicts, diasporas, and refuge in the Middle East. My work has been significantly shaped by collaborations with European Think Tanks, where I’ve contributed to thought-provoking publications. Within the field of forced migration, my articles emphasize the complex struggles faced by individuals. These challenges arise from the securitization measures imposed by host societies, which often hinder seamless integration and perpetuate stigmatization. Beyond research, I’ve spent over five years immersed in project management in Ecuador related to the Cultural Integration of Refugees and Migrants. Here, my focus extends beyond mere logistics. I’ve applied an approach that considers age, gender, diversity, and intersectionality. Specifically, I’ve worked with individuals seeking international protection from regions like the Middle East, Colombia, and Venezuela.
